Eileen Maher {née Redmond}

Notice: Eileen Maher {née Redmond} passed away peacefully at the age of 102, surrounded by her loving family in the care of Our Lady’s Hospice. She was a former resident of Carlow, Ireland and is survived by her children Kathleen, Noeleen, Gerry, Richard, and Tina. Unfortunately, Eileen was predeceased by her husband Patrick and four of her children: Paddy, Ann, Patricia, and Pauline. Eileen’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren also mourn her passing, along with her nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends. The family pet, Foxy, also loved her dearly.

The wake will be hosted at Brian McElroy Funeral Home in Crumlin Village on May 9th between 5 pm and 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on May 10th at 10 am in St. Agnes’s Church, then followed by cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium. Live streams of the service will be available on the Crumlin Parish website and McN Media. Flowers may be sent by family only, and any donations in memory of Eileen should be given to the hospice in which she passed. If you cannot attend, you can still leave a message in the condolence book.
