Eileen Matthews {née Keene}

Notice: Eileen Matthews, beloved wife of Tim and mother of Shirley, Sylvia, and Sonya, passed away peacefully on June 29th, 2023, at the Mercy University Hospital in Cork. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter Johanna. Eileen will be deeply missed by her husband, daughters, grandchildren, brother, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, cousins, neighbors, and friends.

Visitation will be held at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home on Sunday, July 2nd from 3pm to 4pm. A service will take place at the Island Crematorium on Monday, July 3rd at 12 Noon. For those unable to attend, Eileen’s service will be live streamed through a provided link. Attendees are requested to wear bright clothing and are asked to refrain from sending flowers. Instead, donations can be made to the Mercy Hospital Foundation.
