Eileen McCarthy{née O’Donovan}

Notice: Eileen McCarthy, aged 95, peacefully passed away at her home on July 20th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Pat McCarthy and the cherished mother of Martina {Wall} and Noel. Eileen was also the sister of Mary {O’Neill} and the late Sean, Ned, Francie, Neily, Pat, Peggy, Nan, and Kitty. She will be greatly missed by her son-in-law Noel, daughter-in-law Deirdre, beloved grandchildren Katie, Maeve, Amy, Jules, Mollie, and Oscar, as well as her sister, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Eileen will be lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home in Ballincollig on Friday, July 21st from 6pm to 7pm for visitation. The Requiem Mass will be held at 10am on Saturday, July 22nd at the Church of The Descent of the Holy Spirit in Dennehy’s Cross, with the funeral to follow at St Oliver’s Cemetery. May she rest in peace.

Eileen McCarthy, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away at the age of 95. She will be deeply missed by her family as well as the numerous people whose lives she touched. Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects at Crowley’s Funeral Home in Ballincollig on Friday. A Requiem Mass will then be held the following day at the Church of The Descent of the Holy Spirit, after which Eileen will be laid to rest at St Oliver’s Cemetery. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
