Eileen O’Brien{née Barry}

Notice: Eileen O’Brien, a resident of Captain Keane’s Grove, Mitchelstown, and formerly of St. Mary’s Terrace, Fermoy, Co. Cork, passed away unexpectedly at her home. Eileen was the beloved wife of Tom and a much-loved mother of seven children, Martina, Anne Marie, Elaine, Deborah, Deirdre, Maeve, and Amelia, and a loving Nannie to 13 grandchildren. She was also a dear sister, sister-in-law, and aunt to many. Eileen will be missed by her family, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbors, and friends.

Eileen’s funeral will take place at The Church of Our Lady Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown, on Monday after her body is received there on Sunday from her home from 3.00pm to 7.00pm. The Requiem Mass will begin at 12 noon on Monday, with burial thereafter in Brigown Cemetery. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Irish Community Air Ambulance.
