BROWNE {Cork} peacefully passed away on October 21st 2023, surrounded by the caring medical staff of St. Catherine’s Ward, Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, as well as her loving family. ELIZABETH {BETTY} {née Field} of Mt. Nebo Avenue, Gurranabraher, was the cherished wife of the late Paddy and devoted mother to Carl, Catherine, Noel, and Kenneth. She will be deeply missed by her beloved family, grandchildren Luke, Liam, Cathal, Bláithín, Darragh, Ciarán, Cian, Nicole, Fintan, and Max, as well as her sisters Eileen {Somers} and Theresa {O’Flynn}, aunts, nephews, nieces, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Karolina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, and a wide circle of friends both locally and in Crosshaven.
Visitation will be held at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge, on Tuesday, October 24th, from 5pm to 6pm, including Prayers at 5.45pm. The Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 25th, at 11am in the Church of The Ascension, Gurranabraher. The Mass will be live-streamed at https://www.gurranabraherparish.ie/webcam/. Following the funeral service, burial will be held at St. Oliver’s Cemetery, Model Farm Road.
