Elizabeth {Betty} Kelly {née Gavin}

Notice: Betty Kelly, a resident of Mullingar and previously of Rochfortbridge, Co Westmeath, passed away peacefully on June 29th. She was pre-deceased by her husband Peter, who served in the Garda Síochána. Betty is survived by her loving family, including her daughters Maureen and Ann, sons Peter and Declan, as well as her son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a wide network of friends and neighbors. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Reposing will take place at John Healy’s Chapel of Rest in Rochfortbridge, with prayers at 6pm on Saturday, July 1st. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Rochfortbridge, followed by burial in the local cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore. The Kelly family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff of Medical 2 at the hospital, as well as Betty’s devoted caregivers at home.
