Elizabeth {Betty} McSherry {née O’Neill}

Notice: Elizabeth {Betty} McSherry, of Ennis Road, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare, passed away unexpectedly on June 29th, 2023 at Galway University Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Paddy. Betty will be greatly missed by her loving daughter Ann, as well as her brothers Seamus and Ignatius, sisters Ann-Theresa and Lourda, sisters-in-law Gerardine and Anne, brothers-in-law James and Coley, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends.

The funeral arrangements include a reposing at Kennedy’s Funeral Home in Ennis on Sunday, July 2nd, starting at 5 pm, with removal to Newmarket-on-Fergus Church at 7 pm. The Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, July 3rd, at 12 noon, followed by burial in Kilnasoolagh Cemetery. The Funeral Mass can also be viewed live through a livestream provided by a third party at http://www.newmarketonfergusparish.ie/webcam/. Please note that the funeral home has no control over the functionality of the livestream.
