Notice: Betty, formerly of Old Dooradoyle, Limerick, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, surrounded by her family and cared for by the staff of University Hospital Limerick. She is deeply missed by her loving husband Peter, sons Patrick, Gerard, and Michael, daughters-in-law Audrey, Margie, and Gillian, brother Adrian, sister Ann, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbors, and friends. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, July 31 at Holy Family Church, Southill, following visitation at Griffin’s Funeral Home on Sunday, July 30. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland.
Betty will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who brought joy to the lives of those around her. She will be greatly missed and her memory cherished by all who knew her. A service of remembrance and celebration of Betty’s life will take place at the Holy Family Church, Southill, allowing friends and family to pay their last respects. Donations to the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland are welcomed, in honor of Betty’s memory and to support those affected by the disease.
