Notice: Buckley {formerly Bones}, Elizabeth {Liz}, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2023, at Glenashling Nursing Home in Clondalkin. She was surrounded by her loving family and received exceptional care from Garry and the staff at the nursing home. Liz was the beloved mother of Dee and John {known as Seán Óg}, and her presence will be deeply missed by her children, as well as their father Seán. She is also survived by her sister Maureen, son-in-law Ken, daughter-in-law Ann, and her cherished grandchildren Liam, Cara, Cillian, Ava, Lucy, and Lauren. Liz will be remembered fondly by her nephews, nieces, relatives, the extended Buckley family, neighbors, and friends.
The reposing will take place on Thursday from 4pm to 7pm at Glenashling Nursing Home. On Friday, Liz will be removed to St. Brigid’s Church in Straffan, where a 12.30pm Mass will be held in her honor. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Mount Jerome Crematorium.
