A public viewing will be held at Crowley’s Funeral Home in Ballincollig on Sunday, June 25th, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, June 26th, at 11:00 am at the Church of St Mary and St John in Ballincollig, which can be viewed online at https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig. Following the Mass, Elizabeth will be laid to rest in St Oliver’s Cemetery. The family kindly asks for donations to the CUH Charity in lieu of flowers. The funeral will be private, and the family appreciates your understanding during this time.
Elizabeth Staunton, lovingly remembered by her family and friends, has peacefully passed away at Cork University Hospital at the age of 78. Survived by her children, Eamonn and Valerie, and her brother Brendan, Elizabeth also leaves behind cherished memories for her son-in-law Sean, daughter-in-law Margaret, and grandchildren Brooke, Carrie, Shauna, and Keeley. She was preceded in death by her husband Eamonn and her brother Michael. Her loss will be deeply felt by her extended family, including her siblings-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. May she find eternal rest.
