Eunan McAteer

Notice: Eunan McAteer of Maynooth, Co. Kildare, and formerly of Waterford and Tipperary, passed away peacefully on June 28th, 2023 at St. Frances Hospice in Blanchardstown. He was the beloved son of the late Jim and Peg. Eunan is survived by his wife Anne, daughters Niamh and Eithne, son Éanna, sons-in-law John and Steven, daughter-in-law Emma, grandchildren Cillian, Aoife, James, Caoimhe, Kate, Rian, and Baby Sophie {R.I.P.}. He is also survived by his brothers Tommy {R.I.P.}, Billy, Brian, and Declan, sisters Margaret, Susan, Carmel, and Angela, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly’s Funeral Home in Maynooth, Eunan’s family will receive guests on Friday from 4pm to 8pm, with prayers at 7pm. The funeral will take place on Saturday, with a 10am Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church in Maynooth, followed by burial in Laraghbryan Cemetery. For those who cannot attend the funeral, condolences may be left in the comments section below. The funeral Mass will be livestreamed on the Maynooth Parish website.
