Fr. Donal Bennett

Notice: Fr. Donal Bennett, a member of the Columban Fathers, passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2023 at St. Columban’s Retirement Home. Fr. Bennett had previously lived in Omagh, Co. Tyrone; Philippines, and Dalgan Park, Navan. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, one sister, a brother-in-law and a nephew. Survived by his sister, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, the Columban family, and friends. His funeral will take place with evening prayers on May 15th and a requiem mass on May 16th, followed by burial in the Community Cemetery.

Fr. Bennett was a member of the Columban Fathers and had lived in various locations throughout his life. He passed away at the age of 82 at St. Columban’s Retirement Home. Fr. Bennett was a beloved family member and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His funeral will be held on May 16th with evening prayers the day before.
