Notice: With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Fr Martin Cushnan, a cherished member of the Redemptorist Community at Clonard Monastery in Belfast. He peacefully departed on 3rd April 2024 at The Northern Ireland Hospice. Fr Martin’s body will lie in state at the Monastery Parlour from Thursday 4th April until Friday 5th April at 5.45pm, before being moved to the church for the 6.15pm Mass. His funeral will be held on Saturday 6th April at 12 noon, with a Requiem Mass followed by burial at Milltown Cemetery. He will be deeply missed by his colleagues in Ireland and India, as well as his nieces, nephews, and extended family.
