Notice: It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He resided in Rathfarnham, Dublin and was predeceased by his wife Phyllis and siblings Brian, Maureen, and Carmel. The staff at the Four Ferns Nursing Home provided him with incredible care during his final days. He will be deeply missed by his children Gillian, Jane, Louise, Mark, Susan, Emma, and Frank, as well as their partners, grandchildren, sister Oona, extended family, neighbors, and numerous friends.

A funeral service will be held at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home in Thurles on June 24th, with visitation hours from 5pm to 7pm. On June 25th, a Requiem Mass will be held at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Thurles at 11am, followed by burial at St Patrick’s Cemetery.
