Notice: Gemma Powell, previously known as Gemma Nally, peacefully passed away on July 20, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones at St. Francis Hospice in Blanchardstown. She was the cherished wife of the late Anthony, and will be deeply missed by her children Andrew, Steven, David, and Claire, as well as her grandchildren Conor, Ciara, Seán, and Caoimhe. Gemma’s daughter-in-law Margot and Steven’s partner Warren, along with her brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, extended Nally and Powell families, neighbors, and friends, also mourn her loss. Her family now bids her gentle soul to rest in peace.

To pay their respects, Gemma’s body will lie in repose at Massey Bros Funeral Home in Cabra on Tuesday, July 25, from 5pm to 7pm. On Wednesday morning, her remains will be transferred to Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Navan Road, with a Requiem Mass to be held at 10am. Following the service, Gemma will be laid to rest in Glasnevin Cemetery. Those who wish to view the Funeral Mass or leave a private message for Gemma’s family can do so via the provided links.
