Gerry Donnelly

Notice: Gerry Donnelly, a resident of Church Hill in Wicklow Town, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2023, surrounded by his loving family, after a prolonged illness. He received exceptional care from Bons Secours in Cork. He is survived by his children, Chon, Ruaidhrí, and Catherine, as well as his granddaughter Sophie. Gerry will be deeply missed by the extended Donnelly, Dunn, and Harrington families, as well as his close friends and neighbors. May he rest in eternal peace.

A viewing for Gerry will take place at Sullivan’s Funeral Home in Turners Cross, Cork on Friday, from 2pm to 3pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday at Wicklow Parish Church on Church Hill, and will be an ecumenical service starting at 12 noon. Following the service, Gerry will be laid to rest in Killoughter Cemetery.
