GILLIAN {JILLY, nee Morey}, also known as Henry, passed away unexpectedly on June 13th, 2023, at her home in Antigua. She was formerly from Ffrye’s Estate, St Mary’s, Antigua, Farranree, and Ballinlough. Beloved mother of Daniel, Jannah, and Elijah. She was the dear daughter of Eileen and the late Connie, beloved sister of Ian, Eileen, Damian, and Leona, and cherished grandmother of Christopher and James.
She will be deeply missed by her sons, daughter, mother, siblings, grandchildren, husband John Henry, extended family, and numerous friends in Cork and Antigua.
The Funeral Service will take place at Coughlan’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 22nd, with family attending from 8.00 pm and the Rosary at 9.00 pm. Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd, at 1.00 pm in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. Following the Mass, the Funeral will proceed to The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, for a Service at 3.00 pm. To view the Service, please visit https://www.islandcrematorium.ie.
