Hugh Looney

Notice: Hugh Looney, a Sign Writer from Passage West, Co. Cork, passed away on May 12th, 2023, aged 75, at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Mary {née Leonard} and the cherished father of Rachel, Peter, Anna, and Pauline. Hugh will also be missed by his siblings Jo, Eithne, Rose, Finbarr, and Pat, as well as his son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The wake will be held from 5 pm to 6 pm on Wednesday, May 17th at Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road, of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. The service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, May 18th, at the Ardfallen Centre in Douglas, with the funeral following at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Passage West.
