Ida Cotter {née McCarthy}

Notice: Ida Cotter, aged, died peacefully at her home in Rochestown, Cork on June 28th, 2023. She was surrounded by her family during her final moments. Ida was the beloved wife of the late John and the loving mother of Helen Scully, Sean, Fiona Knights, and Una Keeshan. She will be deeply missed by her family, including her sister Josie, sons-in-law Michael, Richard, and Donagh, daughter-in-law Hilary, and her grandchildren Cliodhna, Sean, Cian, Conor, John, Tara, Grace, Sarah, Mark, and James. Ida is also survived by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Friends and family can pay their last respects at the Temple Hill Funeral Home on Boreenmanna Road on Friday {June 30th} from 5.00pm to 6.00pm. A Requiem Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church in Rochestown on Saturday {July 1st} at 11.00am, which will be available for viewing online. After the funeral service, Ida will be laid to rest at Lisheen Cemetery in Skibbereen, Co. Cork. The family kindly requests no flowers, and instead, condolences can be left in the section below.
