James {Canice} Sealy

Notice: Sealy James, an Honorary Member of Newlands Golf Club, passed away unexpectedly on May 8th, 2023, at his home in St. Anthony’s Crescent, Greenhills. Surrounded by his loving family, James was in the compassionate care of the staff of Tallaght Hospital at the time of his death. He was the beloved husband of the late Hannah, and he was a loving dad to Fergus, Gerard, Seamus, Ann Marie, and John Paul. James was also a much-loved grandad to his four grandchildren, Aisling, Shane, Joseph, and Molly. Along with his family members, he will be deeply missed by his sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbors, and friends.

Visitation for James will take place on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home in Crumlin Village. His funeral on Thursday will include a Mass at 10am in the Church of the Holy Spirit followed by burial in Mount Jerome. For those who cannot attend the Funeral, a condolence message can be left in the book provided below. Nevertheless, a link to the live-stream of the Funeral Mass has also been provided. This service is managed independently, and the Funeral Home is not responsible for any interruption to the live transmission.
