James {Jimmy} Carty, a resident of Trien, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, passed away peacefully on October 23rd, 2023, in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Susanna {née McHugh} and Michael Carty. James will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Frances {née Daly}, his children Mary, Susan, Michael, Concepta, Martin, Fintan, James, Christina, Gerry, and Bernard, his cherished grandchildren Dara, Matthew, Cathal, and James, his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, extended family members, neighbors, and friends.
The family will host a viewing for James at his home {eircode F45 F258} on Tuesday, October 24th, from 3pm to 7pm. This will be followed by a removal to St. Caolin’s Church, Trien, at 7.15pm. A Requiem Mass in his honor will take place at St. Caolin’s Church, Trien, at 12pm on Wednesday, October 25th, followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castlerea.
