Notice: On July 28th, 2023, Jimmy passed away peacefully at the Milford Care Centre, surrounded by his family and the exceptional care of the staff. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pakie and Patsy, his sister Nuala, and his recently deceased brother Jack. Jimmy will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Anne, his brothers Fr. Paddy and Gerry in the USA, his brother Bill, his sisters Kate and Anna, as well as his extended family, relatives, friends, and neighbors. May he Rest In Peace.
Jimmy’s body will be reposed at Ss Peter & Paul’s Church in Bruff on Sunday evening, July 30th, from 5pm to 7pm, followed by a Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon. After the funeral service, a private service will be held at the Shannon Crematorium. Anne and the family express their gratitude to the staff at UHL, especially Mr McManus and his team, for the compassionate care provided to Jimmy during his time in the hospital.
