Notice: James Shortall, also known as Jamsie, passed away peacefully on July 25th, 2023, in the Highfield Nursing Home. Surrounded by his loving family, Jamsie was predeceased by his son Denis. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Kathleen, sons William, James, and Joey, daughters Cathy and Janet, as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jamsie is also survived by his brother Patrick, sisters Sheila and Bridie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbors.
The funeral arrangements include a Reposing in Stafford’s Funeral Home on Friday, July 28th, from 3 pm to 5 pm. On Saturday, July 29th, there will be a Funeral Mass at St. Matthew’s Church in Ballyfermot at 10 am, followed by a cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium. The family kindly requests no flowers and suggests donations to the Grattan Unit or Adison Unit in Highfield Nursing Home.
