Notice: Quietly surrounded by his devoted loved ones, James peacefully passed away. His dear wife Kathleen preceded him in death. The void that James leaves behind will be deeply felt, but his memory will forever remain cherished by his daughters Nuala Halligan, Dorothy Somers, and Jennifer Plunkett; his sons Seamus, Donal, David, Barry, and Brian; his sons-in-law and daughters-in-law; his 21 adoring grandchildren and great grandchild; his brothers and sisters; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; his nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

May James find eternal peace.

The visitation for James will take place at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home, located on Harbour Street in Tullamore, beginning at 5pm on Monday. The Rosary will be said that evening at 8pm. On Tuesday morning, a solemn procession will lead James to the Church of the Assumption in Tullamore, where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10am. Following the Mass, James will be laid to rest in Clonminch Cemetery, also in Tullamore.
