Notice: Jim Matthews, formerly of Ballycashin, Butlerstown, Co. Waterford and Dunbell, Kilkenny, has sadly passed away. He was predeceased by his parents and his sisters Angela, Kay, Eileen, and Maureen. Jim leaves behind his brother Sean, sister Elsie, sister-in-law Kathleen {Kitty}, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbors, and friends, especially Sheila. His funeral will take place at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Butlerstown, with a requiem Mass on Wednesday at 1pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The vigil prayers and rosary will be held at Thompsons Funeral Home in Waterford on Tuesday evening from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. The Mass will also be live-streamed through a link provided on the Butlerstown Livestream Link.
