O’SULLIVAN {St Finbarr’s View, Lough Road, Cork}: On August 2nd 2023, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the care of the wonderful staff at Care Choice, Montenotte, JIM {formerly of The Lough Tavern}. Beloved husband of the late Angela {née O’Callaghan}, loving father of Janet {Keating} and Neil and dear brother of Joan {Ward}, Michael and the late Jack and Con. Sadly missed by his loving daughter, son, sister, brother, son-in-law Chris, daughter-in-law Jean, grandchildren Jonathan and his wife Karla, Louie and Vivienne, great-granddaughter Luella-Rose, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Obituary: James O’Sullivan
James O’Sullivan, formerly of The Lough Tavern, passed away peacefully on August 2nd, 2023 at Care Choice in Montenotte. He was surrounded by his loving family and received exceptional care from the staff. James was the beloved late husband of Angela O’Sullivan {née O’Callaghan}, and the devoted father of Janet Keating and Neil. He was also a dear brother to Joan Ward, Michael, and the late Jack and Con. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, son, sister, brother, son-in-law Chris, daughter-in-law Jean, grandchildren Jonathan and his wife Karla, Louie and Vivienne, great-granddaughter Luella-Rose, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

The wake will be held at Sullivan’s Funeral Home in Turners Cross on Thursday, August 3rd, from 5pm to 6pm. The Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, August 4th, at 3pm at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in The Lough, and will be streamed online. Following the funeral, James will be cremated at the Island Crematorium in Ringaskiddy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests no floral arrangements. Instead, they would like to celebrate James’ life by encouraging attendees to wear bright colors to the funeral services.
