Jim {The General} McLaughlin

Notice: Jim McLaughlin, also known as “The General,” has passed away suddenly on Cockhill Road in Buncrana, Co Donegal. He is survived by his beloved wife Julija, his cherished son James Andrew, and his brothers Martin, John, and Patrick, as well as his sisters Alice, Patricia, Mary, and Bridie. He will also be missed by his extended family, including brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and neighbors, as well as his numerous friends. May he rest in peace.

The funeral arrangements for Jim are as follows: his remains will be reposing at his home from 6pm on Thursday until 10pm, and on Friday from 12 noon to 10pm. The funeral will take place on Saturday, with the procession leaving at 9.45am and heading to St Mary’s Church in Cockhill. After the service, Jim will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
