Notice: Jimmy Tobin of Chapel Street, Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny passed away peacefully on June 30th, 2023. He was surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Josie, parents Joseph and Nora, as well as his siblings. Jimmy is survived by his loving family: Mary, Siobhan, James, and Margaret; sons-in-law Brian, Seoirse, and Stephen; daughter-in-law Julia; and his grandchildren Mark, Owen, Alannah, Farrah, Ross, Cori, Beibhinn, Fionan, Ollie, and Joanne. Also mourning his loss are his sister Nora, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and a wide circle of friends.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Kieran’s Church, Johnstown, on Monday morning at 11 o’clock, following the repose at his daughter Margaret’s residence in Renaghmore, Grange, Barna.
