Joan Flannery{née O’Riordian/Mc Carthy}

Notice: Joan Flannery, formerly of Newtown, Caherconlish, peacefully passed away on July 20th, 2023, at St John’s Hospital. She was surrounded by her son John McCarthy. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Paddy Flannery. She is deeply mourned by her sons John and Michael, her adopted daughter Buddy, grandsons Paul and David, great-grandchildren Abe and Nate, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and close neighbors. May she rest in peace.

The funeral arrangements for Joan consist of her repose at Caherconlish Church on Monday, July 24th, from 5pm to 7pm, followed by prayers. The Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday, July 25th, with burial to follow at Mount St Laurence {old} Cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, the Requiem Mass will be streamed live.
