Joan Grout {née Brett}

Notice: Joan Grout, formerly of Cleaghmore, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, peacefully passed away on June 24, 2023. She is survived by her husband Paul, children Cian and Aoife, mother Peggy, brothers Derry and Ray, sisters Yvonne and Mary, and a large extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her father Walter and brother Gerard. The family expresses their gratitude to the Galway clinic for their care.

Joan’s repose will take place at St. Anthony’s Room in St. John the Apostle Church in Knocknacarra, Galway on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, from 6-7pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at the same church on Thursday, June 29, followed by burial at Creagh Graveyard in Ballinasloe. The family kindly requests no floral arrangements.
