Notice: Joan Mc Morrow {née Timlin}, a resident of Drumlease, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim and formerly from Headford, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully at her home on July 26th, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Tony and sister of the late John Jr., and daughter of the late Josephine and John Timlin. Joan will be deeply missed by her sisters Maria, Anne, Gráinne, Fidelma, Eithne, Laura, and Olga, as well as her stepson Ciaran and his wife Stephanie, and their daughters Cara Anne and Ava Marie. She will also be remembered with love by her extended family, friends, and neighbors. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Joan’s funeral arrangements include a period of repose at Fowley’s Funeral Home in Dromahair on Sunday, July 30th, from 3pm to 5pm, followed by prayers. On Monday, her Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick’s Church in Dromahair at 11am. For those unable to attend in person, the Mass may be viewed live on churchtv.ie/dromahair.html. A private cremation will then take place at Lakelands Crematorium in Cavan. The family has requested privacy at their home and asked for family flowers only. Donations, if desired, can be made to the MS Centre Sligo or the Irish Kidney Association.
