Notice: Joan Mc Morrow {née Timlin}, a resident of Drumlease, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim, and formerly of Headford, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully at her home on July 26th, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Tony and the sister of the late John Jr., as well as the daughter of the late Josephine and John Timlin. Joan will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her sisters Maria, Anne, Gráinne {U.S.A.}, Fidelma, Eithne {U.S.A.}, Laura, and Olga, as well as her stepson Ciaran {U.S.A.} and his wife Stephanie and their daughters Cara Anne and Ava Marie. She also leaves behind brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, neighbors, and a large circle of friends.
Joan’s funeral arrangements include a repose at Fowley’s Funeral Home in Dromahair on Sunday, July 30th, from 3pm to 5pm, concluding with prayers. On Monday, her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church in Dromahair at 11am. The Funeral Mass will be available for live viewing at churchtv.ie/dromahair.html. Following the Mass, there will be a private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium in Cavan. The family kindly requests privacy at their home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Centre Sligo or the Irish Kidney Association.
