Notice: Joan Mc Morrow, formerly Timlin, passed away peacefully at her home in Dromahair, Co. Leitrim on July 26th, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Tony and sister of the late John Jr. Her parents, Josephine and John Timlin, also predeceased her. Joan leaves behind her sisters Maria, Anne, Gráinne {from the USA}, Fidelma, Eithne {from the USA}, Laura, and Olga, as well as her stepson Ciaran {from the USA}, his wife Stephanie, and their daughters Cara Anne and Ava Marie. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, including brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, neighbors, and many friends.
Joan’s funeral arrangements include a viewing at Fowley’s Funeral Home in Dromahair on Sunday, July 30th, followed by prayers. On Monday, there will be a funeral mass at St. Patrick’s Church in Dromahair, which will be available to view live on churchtv.ie/dromahair.html. A private cremation will then take place at Lakelands Crematorium in Cavan. The family kindly requests that the family home remain private. Instead of sending flowers, donations to the MS Centre Sligo or Irish Kidney Association would be appreciated.
