Notice: Joan Thornton passed away peacefully on July 28th, 2023, surrounded by her loving children. She was predeceased by her father Albert. Joan was a beloved mother to Paul, Michelle, and Jennifer, and cherished grandmother to Chloe, Daniel, Brooke, Laya, Jace, and Cameron. She will be deeply missed by her son-in-law Brian, sisters Lorraine, Christine, and Wendy, brother Jason, mother Doreen, as well as her extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Newlands Cross Crematorium on July 31st at 13:00, followed by cremation. Attendees are requested to wear bright colors to the service.
