Joan Tierney, formerly of Corofin and Kilmaley, passed away unexpectedly at her home. She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Siobhan. Survived by her loving family including daughters Beverly and Charlotte, sons Lloyd and Damien, as well as her sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, and a large circle of friends. May she find eternal rest. The wake will take place at St Brigid’s Church in Corofin on Tuesday, August 1st, starting at 6:30pm, with prayers at 8pm. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd at 11am, followed by burial at Kilvoydane Cemetery in Corofin.
