Notice: Joe Mahon of Liffey Lawns, Clane, and formerly of Kill Village, Co. Kildare, passed away peacefully at St. James’ Hospital on May 16th, 2023. His loving wife, Rita, and daughters Sinéad and Deirdre, as well as sons-in-law Ciarán and Mike, grandchildren Liam, Niamh, Joe, and Roisín, the King family, neighbors and friends are all deeply saddened and are left to mourn. Joe’s family will receive well-wishers at Oliver Reilly’s Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane, on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m, prayers will be said at 7.45 pm. The Funeral Home team will transfer the remains on Thursday around 1.30 pm to the Church of St. Patrick and St. Brigid, Clane, where a funeral mass will take place at 2 pm followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane. The family thanks Dr. Moya Cunningham, the multidisciplinary team, and support staff at St. James’ Hospital, as well as the local primary and palliative care teams, for Joe’s exceptional care.
