Notice: With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Joe O’Leary of Clonascra, Shannonbridge, Athlone, Offaly, and formerly of Lecarrow, Shannonbridge. Joe peacefully passed away on February 17th, 2024, surrounded by his family at Eliza Lodge Nursing Home, Banagher. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Rita, cherished son Cathal, and brother William. Joe, a native of Lecarrow and former employee of Bord na Móna, will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, including his children, grandchildren, siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends. May Joe rest in eternal peace.
