Notice: Joe Walton, a resident of Kilkenny, passed away peacefully on May 11th, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Survived by his loving wife Anna, Joe was a much-loved father to Simon and Claire {Phillips}, cherished father-in-law of Roy and Margaret {Crotty}, and adored grandfather of Ciara, Rory, and Luke. Joe will be missed by his extended family, nieces, nephews, neighbours, and friends. He was 73 years old at the time of his death.

The family will hold a Rosary and Vigil Prayers service at Johnstone’s Funeral Home on May 12th, starting from 4 pm. The Requiem Mass will then take place at St. Mary’s Cathedral on May 13th at noon, followed by interment at Foulkstown Cemetery. The family request that their privacy be respected, and no visitors are allowed at the house. The Requiem Mass will be live-streamed.
