Notice: John Burke, also known as “an Fear” or “Fear” passed away on July 27, 2023, peacefully at Mayo Hospice Castlebar. He was formerly of Cahir, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo and was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Bessie. John is deeply mourned by his sister Mary Donnelly and his nephews James, John, and Gerard, as well as his relatives, neighbors, and friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
There will be a viewing at Saint Joseph’s Funeral Home in Ballinrobe on Saturday evening, followed by a removal to Saint Mary’s Church Ballinrobe. A Requiem Mass will be held on Sunday morning, and the funeral will proceed to the new cemetery in Ballinrobe.
