Notice: John Beggan, aged 75, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023, at City Hospital in Lurgan, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved partner of Carol, a loving stepfather to Zoe, Vicki, Lauren, and their respective partners Gary and Lee. John was also a cherished grandfather to Ebhan, Kaben, Darcy, and Brogan. He was the dear son of the late Rose and Robert Beggan and a beloved brother of Robert, with a sister-in-law named Lisa from Clones, County Monaghan.
John’s family and friends are invited to pay their respects at his home, 39 Allenhill Park, where his remains will be reposing on Friday evening from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm and on Saturday from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral will take place from his home on Sunday at 2:30 pm, proceeding to St. Peter’s Church for 3:00 pm Requiem Mass. Following the Mass, John will be laid to rest in St. Colman’s Cemetery. For those unable to attend, the Requiem Mass will be streamed live on St. Peter’s Church webcam. The family lovingly expresses that John will always be remembered and held dear by his partner, stepchildren, grandchildren, and the entire family circle.
