Notice: John Gormley of Luton, UK, and formerly of Drumhalla, Cloone, Co Leitrim, peacefully passed away at home on July 9th, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his parents, John Joe and Lizzie, as well as his sisters Mary and Betty. John is deeply mourned and missed by his devoted wife Bernadette, son Kieran {Manaaz}, daughters Louise {Conor} and Kathryn {Ian}, and his grandchildren Erin, Rhys, Jacob, Harry, and Nyah. He is also survived by his brother Michael {Margaret}, aunt Bridgie, mother-in-law Betty Ryan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbors, friends, and fellow members of the GAA community.
John’s funeral arrangements include a period of repose at Nevilles Funeral Home until his removal to St Joseph’s Church on July 25th, with the requiem mass to be held the following day, July 26th. His funeral mass can be live-streamed on Facebook, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a designated justgiving.com page.
