It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John McKenna, also known as Jack, of Ardagh, formerly of Kildimo and Knocknagoshel. He peacefully left this world on the evening of July 1st, 2023, surrounded by his beloved family and friends at University Hospital Limerick. Jack, a loving husband to Honor, a devoted father to Jacqueline, John, Timmy, and Ann, a cherished son-in-law and daughter-in-law, adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a beloved friend to many, will be profoundly missed.
We invite you to join us in a special memorial service honoring the life of Jack, a dedicated father, skilled stone mason, talented carver, and passionate musician. We will gather on the 4th of August at 11.30am at St. Molua’s Church in Ardagh, Co Limerick, to remember and celebrate the memory of our extraordinary friend who will be dearly missed. A Reqieum Mass will follow at 1pm.
We kindly ask you to bring your most cherished memories of Jack to share with us during the service.
The cremation ceremony will be held privately.
