John {Jack} Sheehy

Notice: John Sheehy, also known as Jack, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2023, in Cahercalla Community Hospice in Ennis. He was previously a resident of Carrigoran House Nursing Home and had lived in Roslevan, Ennis and Botanic Avenue, Dublin. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Pat and Norrie, as well as his sisters Margaret and Breda. He will be deeply missed by his devoted partner Chriss, her children, as well as his adoptive grandchildren, particularly Kate and Emma. Jack is survived by his siblings Noreen, Mary, Patrick, James, Anne, and Michael, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.

Friends and family can pay their respects to Jack during his visitation at Kirwan Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 27th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Requiem Mass will be held the following morning on Wednesday, June 28th at 10:00 AM at the Church of Our Lady of Dolours on Botanic Road, followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed {link provided}. The family kindly requests no floral arrangements and instead suggests donations in Jack’s memory be made to “The Garden Wing, Cahercalla Hospice, Ennis.” May Jack find solace and joy in the presence of God.
