John {Johnny} BURNS

Notice: John {Johnny} Burns passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, Dublin. He was the beloved husband of Lily and a loving father to Jennifer and Erin. Preceded in death by his parents, sister Moya Byrne, and brother Kevin, Johnny’s memory will be cherished by his family, including his brother Brendan, sisters Joan McCourt and Ann Doran, son-in-law Niall Holmes, adored grandchildren Damien, Darcy, Ben, and Beth, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbors, and friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence in Cluan Enda, visitations will take place on Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. On Friday morning at 10.40am, there will be a procession on foot to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church, where a Funeral Mass will be held at 11am, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery Ravensdale. The family kindly requests that the house be private for family only on Friday morning. The Funeral Mass can be viewed via the Church webstream link, where individuals may also leave personal condolences.
