John {Johnny} Fitzgerald

Notice: John {Johnny} Fitzgeral Garrycahra of Ballynoe, Co. Cork, passed away peacefully at Mercy University Hospital. He was the beloved son of the late Patrick and Ellen {nee Fouhy} and the dear brother of Eileen {Pyne}, Ned, Paddy, Breda {Hyland}, Jerry, Denis, Kathleen {Brady} and Fr. Michael. His brothers-in-law were Pat Pyne, Michael Hyland, and Thomas Brady, and he was brother-in-law to the late Ina, Ann, and Peg. Johnny will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his siblings, siblings-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, neighbors, and friends, particularly David & Breda Temple and Norma O’Connor.

Johnny Fitzgeral Garrycahra, or Johnny as he was affectionately known, passed away peacefully at Mercy University Hospital. He is survived by his eight siblings, Eileen, Ned, Paddy, Breda, Jerry, Denis, Kathleen, and Fr. Michael. Johnny was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his entire family, including his brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces. He was also a cherished member of his community and will be remembered by his neighbors and friends. Johnny’s kind and warm-hearted nature touched the lives of many, and he will always be remembered with love and fondness by those who knew him.
