Notice: “John O’Donovan, of Blackrock Road and formerly of Ballyally, Skibbereen, Co. Cork, passed away peacefully on February 21st, 2024, in the care of the Bon Secours Hospital Cork. He was the beloved son of the late John and Madge and was preceded in death by his sister, Florence. John will be dearly missed by his brother, Dan, his sister, Mary {O’Connell}, his dear friend, Anne, his brother-in-law, Dick, his nephew, nieces, extended family, neighbours, and many friends. A viewing will be held at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh O’Connor Ltd. on Thursday, February 22nd from 5.00pm to 6.00pm. A Requiem Mass will be held at 10.00am on Saturday, February 24th in St. Joseph’s SMA Church, Blackrock Road, followed by a private funeral.
