Notice: John Kinahan, a resident of Oaklawns, Athy, Co. Kildare, peacefully passed away on July 28th, 2023, under the care of the compassionate staff at the Beacon Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary. John is deeply mourned by his beloved
wife Liz, his
son Sean,
daughter Lisa, and his grandchildren Jack, Conor, Patrick, and Dara. He is also survived by his
son-in-law Pat, Sean’s partner Brie, his
brothers Peter, Pat, Dominic, and Joe, his
sister Maureen, as well as his
brothers-in-law Mat and Nick, and
sisters-in-law Evelyn, Myra, and Geraldine. He will be missed by his
nephews,
nieces, and his neighbors.
On Sunday, July 30th, John’s remains will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Athy, with the conclusion of the Rosary at 7.00pm. On Monday morning at 10.30am, a procession will depart from his residence and proceed to the Requiem Mass at St. Michael’s Parish Church in Athy at 11.00am. The burial will take place afterward in St. Michael’s {New} Cemetery. People who wish to offer condolences to the family may do so by using the ‘Condolence’ section provided.
