Notice: John Martin Gallagher, also known as Mr. G, passed away at University College Hospital Galway. He is survived by his wife Martina, son Raymond, and a host of relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents John Neil and Margaret. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. G include a viewing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home in Achill Sound, followed by a removal to The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Dookinella, Keel. The removal will take place on Tuesday evening, with the funeral Mass to be held on Wednesday morning. Burial will then take place in Slievemore Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mayo/Roscommon Hospice or Cancer Care West. They also ask for privacy during this difficult time, as the house is strictly private.
