He was also a loving grandfather to John, Jacqueline, Sean, Francis, Brendan, and the late Proinnsias. Reposing at the family home from 12 noon on Wednesday, July 5th, the funeral will take place from the family home on Friday, July 7th, at 10:30 a.m. for a Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Aghyaran. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Marie Curie Cancer Care, which can be arranged through any family member. The family asks for privacy from 10 p.m. to 12 noon and on the morning of the funeral. Those wanting to offer messages of sympathy may do so in the condolence section below.
