John McGirr, Cloghane, Rosbeg Westport and formerly Culleen, Kilsallagh Westport died peacefully on the 31st August 2024 in the wonderful care of the staff in Mayo Hospice.
John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, brother Patrick (Culleen, Kilsallagh), sister-in-law Sr. Patrice (Poor Clare Monastery, Ballsbridge Dublin), brother-in-law Tom Regan (Derrycastle, Aughamore), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Navin’s Funeral Home, Westport on Friday Sept 6th from 5:30pm with removal at 6:30pm to St. Mary’s Church Westport. Funeral Mass on Saturday Sept 7th at 11am with burial afterwards in Murrisk Cemetery.
Family flowers only, donations if desired to Mayo-Roscommon Hospice.
